Doctoral Studies

A prerequisite for acceptance in the PhD programme is for the candidate to hold an MA degree. The period of time for thesis completion cannot extend be less than three (3) or more than six (6) calendar years. Together with their application, candidates are also required to submit a research proposal outlining their field of interest and the faculty member who agrees to supervise the thesis, after first having contacted him/her. An advisory committee, consisting of the supervisor and two further faculty members, is proposed for each PhD student. This committee is responsible for the guidance and the supervision of the PhD student.
