Erasmus Programme: info for incoming students
The School of Philosophy and Education has signed 48 formal bilateral agreements with universities abroad, thus being able to accommodate the mobility of approximately 100 students annually. Recognition is conducted according to European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which has been integrated to the ERASMUS+ programme in order to enhance the mobility of students and the collaboration between universities across the countries of the European Union.
All courses offered in the undergraduate program of study teaching is conducted in Greek. Incoming ERASMUS students that are not competent in Greek have the option to study on relevant topics of the courses selected and to be evaluated on them through written assignments in English or in other language. Students who speak or are currently learning Greek may actively participate in classes.
All arrangements on the courses selected should be made in contact with the faculty members in charge of their teaching.

The Department of Education offers (upon request) exclusively for incoming ERASMUS students the following courses:
Π3025 Adult Educators in Europe: Issues of Collective Identity Construction and Professional Development (6ECTS|3hrs/week).
Course description
The course explores the conditions needed for the personal and professional development of adult educators and trainers, enhancing the attractiveness of their profession and therefore strengthening the idea of quality in adult education in Europe. Incoming ERASMUS students can choose this course as part of their studies. A course portfolio with learning material and a CD is available for ERASMUS students only, in the Department’s Library (room 207, Old Building, 1st floor). Attendance is mandatory for all ERASMUS students who will select the course. A written assignment in English of no more than 5.000 words (approximately 20 pages) is required to successfully pass this course. The passing grade is 5/10.
